Product Details ASTM A53 grade A is a specification for welded Carbon Steel Pipe suitable for use in mechanical and pressure applications. It covers seamless and welded black and hot-dipped galvanized steel pipe in NPS 1/8 to NPS 26. The pipe is intended for pressure and mechanical applications and is commonly used for transporting gas, water, and oil. The grade A designation indicates that the pipe has a minimum yield strength of 30,000 psi and minimum tensile strength of 48,000 psi. It is typically used in low-pressure systems and is not suitable for high-temperature or high-pressure applications.
